1. Agreed Price, Deposits, Cancellation and Balances:
a. Agreed Price:
The Agreed Price is the amount agreed between 'The Limo Firm' & you the customer, based on & is limited to the instruction given as set out in the requirements section. Changes following on from this booking that you want/like to make will be subject to our ability to accommodate those change and may be subject to further cost(s).
b. Deposits:
All bookings made are confirmed by the way of an advance deposit. Normally a deposit of £50 is required. For wedding and other special events an advance deposit of £100 is required. Deposits must be paid in person, mailed in or verbally taken over the phone using a credit or debit card.
*All credit card payments are subject to a £1.50 processing charge, (debit cards are free) are NON-REFUNDABLE once received by 'The Limo Firm'.
c. Cancellation:
(i) Cancellations are only accepted in writing and must be received by us no later than 30 days prior to the hire date, Wedding cancellations 90 days prior to hire. If this is not adhered to the customer will be charged 100% of the balance owed.
(ii) The chauffeur may terminate your booking at anytime if the client or any member of their party causes excessive delay(s), are disorderly or, in the chauffeur's judgment are unfit to travel, with no compensation made to the client.
d. Balance:
Under normal circumstances balances due are payable at the time and place of the first pick up. Alternatively, you may pay the balance in advance in person by cash or by cheque or by mailing a cheque for the balance due allowing enough time (minimum of 7 days) for the cheque to be cleared to ensure cleared funds are deposited to our account prior to the requirements being carried out by us. Personal or business cheques or drafts or foreign are not acceptable as final payment on the day of the requirement unless prior consent by the manager of 'The Limo Firm' has been given. Balances can also be settled in advance using credit or debit cards.
*All credit card payments are subject to a £1.50 processing charge, debit cards are free.
2. Grace Period:
'The Limo Firm' strives always to be at all pickup point(s) in advance of the time(s) agreed. However, there may be causes that may from time to time occasionally prevent us from meeting these aims such as inclement weather, road traffic accidents, road resurfacing and suchlike events outside our control. Reasonably, therefore we need to have under these circumstances to build into schedule(s) period off up to 30 minutes grace. In an event a grace period is invoked, in whole or part, the time of adjusted time(s) will be made up during or after the period of hire, schedules permitting.
3. Damages:
Damages, subsequent cost(s) of repair(s) of such damage(s) to the limousine(s) hired as used by you the customer and/or your guest however caused is your responsibility and a £100 'enforced downtime' charge will be added to these costs for the loss of booked business while these repairs take place. Additionally, in the event that one of the party is sick in the limousine we will charge £100 to make good the vehicle. Where the booking was secured using a credit/debit card you the customer here agree that we may deduct from that card damages as they have arisen. In the event that a credit/debit card was not used for securing the booking we will invoice you directly should the additional payment(s) not be made that night.
4. Overtime:
Overtime charges begin immediately following the end of pre-agreed 'The Limo Firm' contract end time as set out in the box titled 'Requirements End' found on your invoice. Under this agreement the overtime rate per hour or part thereof shall be as that as in the box.
** Per Vehicle Overtime Rate also found on your invoice. Overtime is not a given.
5. Lost Property:
'The Limo Firm' takes every care to keep you the customer and your property safe. We cannot, however, under any circumstances take any responsibility for property lost or left or assumed left at any time in the vehicle(s).
6. Breakdown:
'The Limo Firm' makes every effort to maintain its fleet as often and as thoroughly as we possibly can, 'The Limo Firm' has therefore made all reasonable efforts to ensure that the limousine is/are in the best and most reliable condition and are thereby fit for the purpose of use. In such an event should a mechanical breakdown occur outside its control 'The Limo Firm' cannot therefore be responsible for mechanical breakdown nor for the impact that those unforeseen event(s) might then or thereafter have.
7. Airport Requirements:
(i) The amount of passengers and luggage will be determined at the time of booking and will appear in the 'Requirements' section of the invoice and must not be exceeded due to weight and space restrictions.
(ii) Where 'The Limo Firm' are retained to collect the customer from arriving flight(s), in particular inbound international flight(s) the customer is required to telephone 'The Limo Firm' +44(0)800 3457753 before departing the departure airport to reconfirm the pick-up requirements and obtain the chauffeurs mobile phone number so he may make his way from the holding parking facilities on the airport periphery.
(iii) Charges for airport collections include the first 30 minutes wait after the flight is due to land (the time you have given us) and any additional time will be charged at the overtime rate stated in Point 4. above.
(iv) Excessive delays may forfeit your return journey as other bookings may have been taken for that limousine on that day.
(v) 'The Limo Firm' will not be held liable for any delays or inconvenience however caused if any or the whole of the forgoing is not complied with.
8. Delays:
'The Limo Firm' will do its utmost best to achieve all deadline(s), however we accept no responsibility for any delays caused for whatever the reason.
9. Seatbelts:
Passengers traveling in the forward facing seats are required by law to wear seatbelts and for your safety we advise the wearing of seatbelts by all passengers during transit. Baby seats should be used in forward facing seats only.
10. Non-smoking policy:
There is a strict non-smoking policy in all 'The Limo Firm' vehicle(s).
